The historical house Alte Post (Eng. Old Post office) exists with its foundation walls for more than 500 years. The various functions of the house in the past, the last centuries had a remarkable impact on the old stonewalls of the building. It has served as a Post office, tavern, village grocer, savings bank, timber trade store, stud farm and so on.
After the millennium, the house was in a very deteriorated state, but found new owners with the Druml family. The house got nicely and gently renovated, with consideration of the various past functions to keep the historical character of the building.
With a mixture of archaic and future orientated architectural details, the house was woken from its Sleeping Beauty sleep. It now provides guests from near and far to reside and feel comfortable in an elegant ambience.
